HCL unveils 'Mobile Excitement'


HCL Infosystems Ltd one of India’s leading hardware, services and ICT systems Integration Company has unveiled its largest ever marketing strategy in order to reach out to its gen-next consumers.

With the launch of ‘HCL Mobile Excitement (ME)’- the new marketing initiative- HCL released a new logo for the company along with a new television commercial that focuses around Mobility and life-on-the-go.

Unveiling this new re-branding initiative Mr. Ajai Chowdhry, Chairman & CEO, HCL Infosystems Ltd said, “Ever since our inception, we have always understood our customer needs and have been pioneers in fulfilling them. The new HCL ME campaign has been made keeping the requirements of today’s on–the-go customers who are always on the move seeking seamless connection to the virtual world.”

Besides the announcement of the re-branding strategy, HCL also introduced world’s first laptop with in-built ‘One Touch’ service & support - ME Laptops.

The laptop has been incorporated with innovative and exciting features such as SPLIT ME, LOCK ME, Secure ME and Encrypt ME. Apart from this, the new range of laptops also comes with features like face recognition and finger print recognition. The new range of HCL ME Laptops will be available in stores across the country.

With the launch of HCL ME, HCL aims to raise its market share in the laptop segment to 20 per cent from the existing seven per cent in two-three years. Over the next two-three years, the company would spend Rs 40-50 crore around the re-branding exercise.
